2 Samuel 17:14

SV	Toen zeide Absalom, en alle man van Israël: De raad van Husai, den Archiet, is beter dan Achitofels raad. Doch de HEERE had het geboden, om den goeden raad van Achitofel te vernietigen, opdat de HEERE het kwaad over Absalom bracht.
WLC	וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אַבְשָׁלֹום֙ וְכָל־אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל טֹובָ֗ה עֲצַת֙ חוּשַׁ֣י הָאַרְכִּ֔י מֵעֲצַ֖ת אֲחִיתֹ֑פֶל וַיהוָ֣ה צִוָּ֗ה לְהָפֵ֞ר אֶת־עֲצַ֤ת אֲחִיתֹ֙פֶל֙ הַטֹּובָ֔ה לְבַעֲב֗וּר הָבִ֧יא יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־אַבְשָׁלֹ֖ום אֶת־הָרָעָֽה׃ ס
Trans.	wayyō’mer ’aḇəšālwōm wəḵāl-’îš yiśərā’ēl ṭwōḇâ ‘ăṣaṯ ḥûšay hā’arəkî mē‘ăṣaṯ ’ăḥîṯōfel waJHWH ṣiûâ ləhāfēr ’eṯ-‘ăṣaṯ ’ăḥîṯōfel haṭṭwōḇâ ləḇ^a‘ăḇûr hāḇî’ JHWH ’el-’aḇəšālwōm ’eṯ-hārā‘â:

AC	יד ויאמר אבשלום וכל איש ישראל טובה עצת חושי הארכי מעצת אחיתפל {ס} ויהוה צוה להפר את עצת אחיתפל הטובה לבעבור הביא יהוה אל אבשלום את הרעה {ס}
ASV	And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For Jehovah had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that Jehovah might bring evil upon Absalom.
BE	Then Absalom and all the men of Israel said, Hushai's suggestion is better than that of Ahithophel. For it was the purpose of the Lord to make the wise designs of Ahithophel without effect, so that the Lord might send evil on Absalom.
Darby	And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. And Jehovah had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, in order that Jehovah might bring evil upon Absalom.
ELB05	Und Absalom und alle Männer von Israel sprachen: Der Rat Husais, des Arkiters, ist besser als der Rat Ahitophels. Aber Jehova hatte es so angeordnet, um den guten Rat Ahitophels zunichte zu machen, damit Jehova das Unglück über Absalom brächte.
LSG	Absalom et tous les gens d'Israël dirent: Le conseil de Huschaï, l'Arkien, vaut mieux que le conseil d'Achitophel. Or l'Eternel avait résolu d'anéantir le bon conseil d'Achitophel, afin d'amener le malheur sur Absalom.
Sch	Da sprachen Absalom und alle Männer Israels: Der Rat Husais, des Architers, ist besser als der Rat Ahitophels! Aber der HERR fügte es so, daß der gute Rat Ahitophels vereitelt wurde, damit der HERR das Unglück über Absalom brächte.
Web	And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.
